Petrifying Potato Stamps

This fun craft will please students, and any teachers going mad, desperately searching for last-minute Halloween craft ideas. It requires cheap materials - potatoes, acrylic paint, childrens cutting tools and paper *Teachers need to be fully aware of children with cutting tools at all times.

Children cut monster shapes into their potatoes to make stamps. They then spread acyrlic over the surface of the potato and if the cuts have been made deep enough, the image of the potato can be transferred to paper.
