Instructions :
Divide the class into 2 teams. Place your copy of Appendix D where every student can see. During each turn a student uses their pen to black out 1,2, or 3 petals. After the first student has taken their turn, it is the turn of a student from the opposing team. Alternate in this way until a student can only black out the final petal of the flower. The team that blacks out the last petal loses.
