English classes can be made more enjoyable with games, but they can still be tiring without taking a well-deserved break once in a while. We find that including special, themed party lessons are a great way to refresh. Done correctly, and teachers are often surprised over the lasting impression such classes have on children as they grow older. They are also a great way to teach children of the culture of a teacher’s home country. In own classes we have annually provided lessons on the themes of Halloween, Easter and Christmas, although the games and activities listed here can easily be adapted to other festivals or events.
