Materials :

  • A copy of appendix S2 with counters from Tapatan (Or draw the Appendix S2 board on your whiteboard and prepare 3 magnets or one color and 3 of another)


Preparation time : The time required to draw or print the board


Number of players : Works equally well in groups as in private lessons


Objective : To be the first player to get a line of three, that includes one counter in the centre


Instructions :


Place one team's counters on the circles marked 1, 2, and 3 and your second team's counters on circles marked 5, 6, and 7. Decide who will start, and then take turns moving your counters across lines to empty board spaces. Counters may be moved to the centre circle, but may not jump other counters. The winner is the first player to complete a straight line of 3 counters that includes the centre space. If the same set of moves are repeated three times in a row, the game ends in a draw.
